The awards are organized by the Michigan Sustainable Business Forum (MiSBF) to celebrate organizations advancing sustainability statewide
Why this matters
The Michigan Sustainable Business of the Year Awards recognize leadership across climate action, circular economy, clean water, social justice, sustainable food systems, and overall triple‑bottom‑line performance. In 2025, MiSBF expanded the program to recognize organizations from across the state for their measurable impact.
MiSBF’s announcement identified Vantage Plastics as Manufacturer of the Year, specifically citing circular economy leadership—work we pursue through durable, reusable product design, material efficiency, and closed‑loop partnerships.
About the Triple Bottom Line Bash
The Bash is MiSBF’s signature, typically sold‑out gala, hosted this year at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids. The program featured the statewide awards and the Michigan Sustainable Business Hall of Fame inductions.
